First-person shooter games are perhaps among the most popular game genres of today. And why not? It gives you the thrilling action of outsmarting enemies and diving deep into the battle arena to shoot as many of them as possible. However, while shooter games are highly engaging, most games in these genres do not come free. More, they require modern and heavy resources. Krunker breaks that barrier. It is a free, fast-paced pixelated FPS that you can play in your browser. It drops players into a pixelated world where they can fight against other players from all around the world. It is a game that you can play casually to pass the time, or seriously to take down other die-hards.

Not your usual shooter game

Krunker is not your usual first-person shooter in a way that it has a very low barrier to entry and is very hectic and fast-paced. The characters—both you and your competition—moves very quickly, so you must be on guard to avoid being hit. Before you can start playing, you need to choose from one of the 11 different classes that the game offered. Each class comes with different outfits and styles, as well as primary and secondary weapons. 

Aside from classes, the range in weaponry option is also wide, including a long-range assault rifle, shotgun, revolver, and even akimbo uzis. Each weapon comes with its advantages. To start playing, you need to choose which among the servers you want to join. Krunker shows you the number of players in each of the servers offered. The servers are ordered by location, and it is recommended to choose one that is closer to you, geographically, to minimize latency.

Krunker has a massive selection of maps, and even allows fans to create their own. With this, the games map design is superb, spanning from rocky lava landscape to the ancient Aztec pyramids. The game comes with smooth keyboard controls, and even offers a spectate mode if you wish to only watch the gameplay. Finally, players can track their scores in the social section, which comes with leaderboards and stats. Players under level 15 can be vote kicked and will not be allowed to participate in the game.
